Thomas Furrer

Thomas Furrer

BSc Environmental Engineering

Thomas has a bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Zurich in Applied Sciences. He grew up in different rural projects of his parents, often in remote African outskirts. His emphasis is in natural resources production in a farm project in the remote north of the country - Mporokoso. The development of the pioneer project includes the basic infrastructure as no development was present at the start of the project. Through basic infrastructure development such as roads and bridges the project aims to utilise the natural resources of the area and convert it into valuable food for the urban market. This should stimulate development and agricultural production in the area benefitting the community and the not-for-profit commercial farm.
